Woodlawn High School, opened in 1961, is one of the oldest high schools part of Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS).  According to its website, “The Mission of Woodlawn High School is committed to fostering an environment of high expectations and academic excellence accomplished through the ideals of teamwork, respect, and responsibility.”  Currently, the school offers 31 separate Advanced Placement (AP Courses).  The school also offers a magnet program focused around students that are interested in Engineering, Science, Technology, and Math, as well as over 40 various extracurricular activities, sports, programs, and activities to students.
